I love the idea of falling into heaven, and that's why I give credence to the idea that the song is about alcohol. It's a depressant, no matter how it makes you feel, so you fall either way. And it also makes me think about falling in love, how that's really the only falling we tend to view positively (unless you're a daredevil).
