Ray Smith and Tony Colton, two vocalists in this short-lived group (which included members who formed the folk rock group Fotheringay in 1970 with Sandy Denny, who had recently split with Fairport Convention, as well as guitarist Albert-not-Alvin Lee), were credited as the writers of the song. The song was also covered by Zoot Money (who, among other things, was one of the post-Alan Price keyboardists for The Animals).
