Everyday he looks at the mirror he sees what the love of his life saw. He sees what people he has disapointed have seen. It's a balance between what he wants to me and what is actually is. It's about a narcissist who had no self identity. He took other's identities for self gain and whenever he saw himself in the mirror, he didn't know what to think because he saw role models and lived off their reflection. He didn't know who he was until he fell in love. The love of his life made him realize who he was with her and she brought out the best in him. She cured his narcissism by him being capable of loving another. So everytime he looks in the mirror he saw what she saw when she was with him in the past but she's slipping away and he sees that she's not in his future. Theyre looking at each other and he doesn't ever want her to take her eyes off of him because he loves the person he is when he's with her because she makes him a better person. He has a good side and a bad side, the other half she brings out is his good side. Reminds me of the Great Gatsby.
