cant believe there is only one comment for this great song...sade is so creative to make such a minimalist song...it reminds me of florida beaches at night; Miami, fort Lauderdale, st. Augustine, etc. ....the breeze, the moonlight, the beauty that can be found away from the city....of course I can relate to the melancholic lyrics....I never thought I 'd see the day... my romantic heart is in my shoes these days.
Totally agree with the ‘minimalist’ statement, however She’s a billion singing to a world of less than a million. A lot of people can’t understand her; plight struggle, honesty, romanticism, vulnerability, honesty, and yes it comes with low melodic tunes. Only a special few will be able to understand ????
