I wrote this on a wall at my high school once. It just seemed like such a fitting motto for the state of high school. Teenage life seems so futile sometimes, so full of failure from all sides, so universally depressing, so full of strife. Everyone seems to be fighting against a wall of odds and it's easier sometimes to just shield your eyes...
