Personally, I like the original better than the acoustic because it is more extended, of course. His tone of voice is much different, I think he expresses himself much more. Rawrrrrrr. The lyrics just aren't the same without the sound.
Religion is often brought about when I read different interpretations. I can vividly see it that way, as well.

"There is one above who can judge me" takes me back to "true friends lie underneath", they don't condone him seeking revenge on this human being whom did him wrong? They judge him for it & have also done him wrong by abandoning him? Betrayed him by sleeping with this individual? Maybe. I hear "there is only one above who can judge me" because "all I am is yours".
Oh, so many different ways.. All and all, every one is different and will interpret it in various ways! It's not fun if it isn't that way. Let your brain fumble with it and make it yours! That's clearly what I've done considering it is just too perfectly relatable. This song really clutches my <3!
