For me the whole song is just a metahor for two lovers, once a couple, now drifting away from each other. Somehow the narrator isn´t ready to let her go, he still has love in his heart to give to her. But I don´t think of something like a relationship based sex, I just think it portraits the slow decay of a relationship the narrator wanted to last forever...
The ,,two-hearted spider" is the fusing shadows of the two lovers in the arms of each other. I guess this is also the best line to start the interpretation.
The spider has two hearts, that means there are two souls that differ in feelings, emotions and thoughts. Maybe the spider once was a one-hearted, when the relationship was faultless, but now the expectations of the two persons differ too much, one of the hearts wants to be alone again, without the other one.
The narrator still wants to ,,come over and tear this place apart" like they used to do, but he knows these times are over. With the loss of this wild and fervid chapter in their lives when he ,,saw their shadows dance" the other person has lost the interest in the narrator, regarding him now as just ,,a mess".
The narrator knew that one day this relationship would end this way, but he doesnt want to let the other one go, even though it´s too late.,,Oh my naivety
Oh my fickled views" describes his high expectations pretty good since it also shows a part of him always knew it was no good to keep this relationship going and it would just end in a painful breakup.
,,I saw our shadows fuse before the dawn" also backs this up. He was in love with the other person and the other one loved him ,too, they were the one-hearted spider. He knew it was just his naivety, regardless of this he always hoped on a happy end.
But the dawn is always the beginning of something new and it also blurs their shadows, their symbol of being together. He knows that he cant hold the other one, its time to let go, the ,,dawn" has begun.
But like I said in the beginning, he`s unable to cut their bond once and for all since he still ,,feel[s] his blood boil"everytime they meet, what should be a symbol for his love and passion towards the other one.
And because of this it tears him up inside, it literally ,,Breaks him" that he feels that the other one just fakes the smiles and is moving further away from him till there won´t be a ,,spider of love" anymore, till their shadows won´t fuse again.

Very well written. This is exactly how I interpreted the song too.
