I MIGHT BE WRONG. But IMO the parts involving the girl actually support my original interpretation below; namely, that the song describes the glory of rebellion.
The lyrics talk about self-inflicted pain ("It's the type of pain you really dig and long for" ... "rejection - The kind that's self-induced"... "rejection-the tongue that's bitten through"). In fact, the first time the girl appears in the text, she is not denying herself to the guy. Instead, it's the guy who's "always been insecure to open up and show love". It seems that the man decided not to go for it. In real life, this is exactly what happens with shy guys who give up on the pussy and SUBLIMATE (check out the meaning in psychoanalytic theory) their sexual desire into something else.
Second time the girl appears, references to sex are clear but again, it doesn't seem to me the rejection comes from her. In fact, "She let me taste that sugarhole and of course, I wanted More/But no. I'm reduced to a Rottypanol snort and a lot of drinks" is right away followed by: "This shit goes on and on. Just look down my pants". How could the previous lines be a reference to the girl denying herself if the denial is followed by more sex?
As ScreenNameNeeded suggested, I think references to sex here are more pointing to the "curse" of sex drive rather than describing a rejection from a woman.
I'd be curious to hear other thoughts on this, so please chime in if you've got ideas!
