i think its crazy how kendrick's music seems to have no purpose and he puts a lot of meaning into them that you wouldn't realize until you read the lyrics

It's disrespectful to artists like Kendrick, who care about the art form. If the fakes knew what pain was, real emotional pain from a shitty upbringing, they wouldn't feel the need to exploit rap for self gain. They'd have something to say and deliver that message to all by giving their all.
