Silence Lyrics

I think this song is about two people who seem to go along very well with each other things like smiling one to eachother, underand each other, and both know eachother pretty well and arent lovers and seem to try to establish a relationship and/or start dialog. It is pretty clear they're leading interpersonal relations without communicating not to much verbally. She tries to pursue him in a flirt "Do you wanna play for love?" Observe the patterns: But I know you Yes I wanna know you Yes I wanna know your life She knows this person's secrets but wants to know him personally and his way of seeing his life. But what bothers me, and what I might guess, is that she says in first stanza: " Stop me. Say you wanna stop me Say you wanna stop me now. But, I'm leaving so I'm gonna leave So I'm gonna leave your life." She is pretty decided to take this step of interrupting any connection with this guy as she might know more about the guy's mistakes as she feels like nothing is working for her life. In the lyrics : "Wake me. Say you wanna wake me. Say you wanna wake my life.", she wants him to be her first. If not she wants to be his "teaser", meaning she will try to cover his past with her being around him or in a official relationship or just an admirer or pavement. But she then puts an end to it as in the line before the last she gave the decision for him to take at the moment of speaking with no trying to come back to any reconsideration.End of story.

My Interpretation

I have to add that this song was originaly sung by The MoooD .So, the roles were in fact reverted, as todays society were women tend to secretly hide things and guys playing the savers of girls pride.
