This song caused my music taste to open up properly. Up until then I was into the usual pop stuff, but this one was weird, enticing. In retrospect - Manu Katche on drums, Tony Levin on bass, yea this is not the usual drum synth dross.

Lyrically, I don't think there's necessarily too much to say, Crazy River is likely Mississippi as per my above post, and it describes a potentially slightly intoxicated (I hesitate to suggest peyote fueled) dreamlike walk along the river because it's too hot to sleep. I love the 'mood' it evokes.

Seriously.. no one can comment on this classic? I'm pretty clueless what it's about, the song reminds me a little of 10CC's Dreadlock Holiday.
