INTERPRETATION: It's about a girl (surprise, surprise) who was in a very controlling relationship, and here she is sitting in a cafe idly watching this new guy becoming just a controlling as the last one, and she's not doing a thing about it, and hating herself for it. hence, 'I watched it begin again'
Wow. That's dark. I think that would actually be a really cool meaning to the song, but I don't think that's it. The song has more of a positive outlook IMO.
