The first french part obviously indicates that Damien regrets things he's done in the past. She looks at him, recognises his look whil he is thinking back about that place from the past, and he says that he now knows and regrets it all.
She then tries to comfort him (Vouloir ma main = choose my hand; Tu l'as perdue au moins cent fois = you have lost her at least a hundred times). He is unsure about that because he's afraid he'll hurt her too (It's just like me to let you down, to walk away, to fool around. Ikt's just like you to cry like this into the cracks).
