It's definitely a venting session for Jason, talking about his ignorant friends. The part that gets me, though, is "We'll all die of the same disease/whether you got it in bed or you got it on your knees". Does anyone know what this means? It appears to be STDs from the context, but we don't all die of that. Maybe we all die of being born?
My interpretation is that "we all die of the same disease" simply mean we all die in the end, "whether you got it in bed" means whether you live a reckless life with sex/drugs/etc. "or you got it on your knees" means or if you live a straight edge life (on your knees = praying).

overall i think the song basically is a call to live life to the fullest, be happy, and don't take anything that's not important too seriously, but we only get one shot.

@keegs27 I'm pretty sure he means sin. We are all sinners regardless of our life course. We are all imperfect and sin until the day we die. And even we we repent and have been forgiven, the Bible says the wages sin pays is death (Romans 6:23) So I always assumed that's what he was talking about.
