I'm a big Moody Blues fan and I'm impressed with the constructive spiritual tone of their messages. However, "Send me no wine/To send my love away" escapes me totally.
@scrufferdo I think if you look at the MB's history during the 60s, etc around various mind-expanding entheogens, I've always felt they were making a point in this song about the deadening, numbing, "love-sending-away" aspects of alcohol, maybe as opposed to psychedelics or even just keeping a clear head.
