Don't be so naive people...these lyrics are carefully contrived to get around radio censorship...yeh lyrics are about a woman whose hard-to-get act has him comin'. (in case you didn't notice the "under fire" bit is an afterthought, even the way it's sung).

I'm inclined to agree. The second line reinforces this interpretation: "Coming like thunder..." Eg. the "coming" vs "coming under fire" ambiguity is swiftly decided by this description of just hard she makes him come.
