I think the words in this songs are very strong because i can relate to them. i know i've been there and it's like an "unremovable" stain that's etched in my memory haunting me always, depressing me and unfortunately i think even hope is not good enough to heal the wound. "uneven sides made good a promise and sealed the fate of faith" i guess this means there's nothing you can do to right the wrong.

though it's dark sad and depressing i'd like to think dark things tend to appeal to people more than happy songs. at least for me and i guess to those who listen to metal.
