For me, I can relate to it in the way of the fact that music has evolved from crooning, soulful, and heartfelt to selfish, greedy, and fame-obsessed themes. Now, everyone has their opinions, but this one is just mine. You are free to think differently. :)
To back up my thoughts on this (amazing) song, all you hear on the radio these days are songs about having 'swag', being attractive, being able to get girls/guys with the snap of a finger, having tons of money, having fancy clothes, and partying all night. Yes, It is good to think highly of yourself, but there is a line between being confident, and being cocky. I think of this song as a symbolic statement that music has became annoying due to the selfishness and differentially within the lyrics. :)
