To me this is about the weakness of men in the light of the everlasting love of God. We're weak, don't know anything (for our wisdom is foolishness to God), but there's still a great future ahead of us: everlasting life in the light! We will be so happy, no more tears or pain. And the song makes it clear that that's not because of us, but because of His grace :-)
