I personally believe that this is a family issue between artist and so called "supportive family members." Of course, I could be very wrong. This verse, "These branches are burning, These branches won't pull me down. Back to the ground, where I am standing, Safe and sound." makes me feel as if it is a family problem. Maybe judgment. I feel that Woe, Is Me, is simply trying to convey that they pretty much won't be tamed by conformity or family expectations. As I said, I could be wrong.
