Pretty much the sound of heart break. Grohl screwed Lou over (makes Everlong seem like a bit of a fraud really) in the most literal way and dumped her in the most cowardly way. So much for Mr Nice Guy... The purity and honesty of this song make it an arresting listen. Such a shame that she had to endure what she did for the song to exist.
