It's the weight on their conscience of having to kill, kill, kill for the simple ability to exist... the weight of their duties falls hard on their shoulders as well as on their minds. Brilliant song. Can NOT deny those crushing riffs, especially the groove of the verses the way the guitars and drums lock onto the backbeat on the last line of each verse... sends a chill up my spine every time, and I can never, ever just listen to this song once.
