I love this song, it's one of my favorites by the CWK. I think it's about a couple, maybe who were originally brought together by their religious beliefs, but now the wife is beginning to lose her faith. And her doubt has taken on a life of its own in the way that it's come between them, so it is like she is "pregnant with doubt". The lyrics make sense with this interpretation, the song could be about anything though, and I can't explain the muffled voice in the background. Sounds like the loudspeaker in a hospital.
