At first listen, I thought he was referring to a police station. However, I think the song has a deeper meaning than being arrested. Perhaps it's about Hell. I always thought the lyrics were "All lined up are the ones that are left to stay" by the way. But honestly, it probably has a more abstract meaning rather than to a literal place, hell or otherwise, more of a fear of what's about to come. A knowledge that you are about to face the consequences of your actions, yet it is still a fear of the unknown (void). You know something bad is going to happen, and it's your fault, but you don't know what it is that's going to happen.
