That's my first post, I hope doing it good.
I believe the song is about a person that has recently died (Remember me but let me go), now he/she questions his/herself if he/she will go to the Heaven or to the hell (The gates of hell are waiting, let them wait a little more; Where, where I go? My spirit is free, I'm coming home; You will become who you are) and repents of all the bad things he/she did alive (Forget the pain and all the games we played; Forget the worry and the shame). Also he/she questions his/herself if the human is benign by nature and the destiny that we have and the misfortunes we live are the guilty of our bad feelings (The fate, the hate, it's all the same; and some sentences more that Andrea says in Italian).
Sorry if I made any grammatical or ortographic mistake, hope you agree with me and please tell your own opinions.
