or maybe some other kind of "forbidden love" because there is uncertainty about their seeing each other again...
anyway I just came here to comment that the line "You made me forget my dreams / When I woke up to you sleeping" is so simple and plaintive and beautiful. I know what it's like to fall asleep in utter, debilitating grief, and to wake up once again to your heavy heart beating out its own slow tears.
at that moment I can just imagine looking over next to me and watching the person I love sleeping. somebody who's been through the exact same thing as me, and for whom I'm doing it all.
