Sounds like a future reflection of living life with children but in a pessimistic view.

I can't hide, no On the mantle (During Christmas stockings are placed on a fireplace mantle) I'm not sad Tilling that hoe (Implies hardwork/ labor was worth effort or sexual reference)

It's the season (Winter coming to spring after winter solstice) I'm all reason (Implies guilt/blame) I have seen (reflects on past experiences) All I have grown (Implies an ability to forsee; uncanny intutition)

Sheared at the seams (castration or feminine ) Cheat on me And not seen At the seams (The last lines refer to deities or omnipotency in a masquerade appeareance like Santa Claus)

I'm a lender I'm a planter (These lines show giving/loving but planting a mental seed) I put something In the garden (Dead Christmas tree that lingered)

In the handle On the mantle I'm not Santa I'm a god (The implications on kids of pretending to be santa)

I want a lady Can you save me? (Ms. Claus or two parents) It's the sulfur I have grown (Sulfur the aroma of pine becoming putrid)

'Tis the season I'm all reason (Parents continuing to tell the lie of Chirstmas) I have fleas So run on home (A simple excuse of why Santa would be missing, Reindeer)

My Interpretation
