I can't believe that there are no comments on this song, one of the best Thrash metal songs ever. Coroner is one hell of a band, too technical, yet aesthetically pleasing, my interpretation of the song is that it talks about how politicians pretend to be quite righteous, and then turn out to be false, corrupt, and will end up to miscontrue the general public, they deceive them by giving promises and such, then they turn out to be liars. It's quite simple.

"To be in league with workers" - He started out as a member of the communist party, to fight for the rights of his fellow workers.
"Shot leaving a shambles" - With the country on its knees, Ceaucescu and his wife were rounded up by the people and summarily executed by firing squad. The country was left in "a shambles".
