I understand this song not just as a simple post-break up song, but more like song when the beloved one is gone for good. I find it more from the way of singing rather than lyrics but the words as well. They are singing about a wish to see the face once more and if the person is alive, no matter where he/she lives, it's possible to meet again. Also, saying "But If you loved me,
Why'd you leave me?" sounds like an accusation "how could you left me here alone?". And the last argument is about the line "Take my body", it's asking to take the body to the place the love is, because the soul and mind are already there.

This is a beautiful (yet sad) interpretation of the song, well done!
