Tomorrow Morning Lyrics

Well I guess I'm extremely cynical. Am I the only one that thought someone was cheating on someone in this song? Either way it makes the lyrics more fun for me this way.

"Two thousand miles but that's all right
I'll see you in the morning if that's all right"

He's far away, so she has opportunity. He is checking to make sure he can come in the morning. Either he feels guilty, or he doesn't want her to be with someone else in the morning.

"What would you do if I wrote you a song
would you give me some loving when I get home
or would you be mad at me if I had a hard time
getting a hold of you, I try all the time"

He's trying to get some sex, but he doesn't know if she's mad at him or if he should be at her, since she's never home to answer the phone.

"I'll bet that you don't know anybody that could be so bad
but if you did you'd be wondering where I'm at
I'll be home when tomorrow morning comes"

There it is. Why is he so bad? Or is she bad? And if either of them are "so bad" then someone is cheating. And if you're cheating, you might not be coming back.

"What would you do if I sang you this song
the connection is bad but that's only the phone
when my words kiss your ear, I'll be right there
the message is long because baby this is your song"

An obviously smooth rock 'n roller make up line.

Like I said, it's way more fun this way. Sure it's not as innocent and sweet, but I prefer the snarky interpretation. Anyone with me on this?
