just emphasising the obvious here. as many have already said its about the hip hop industry, and to even more of an extent the creative industry in general. using a once beautiful then misused girl whose been through to many guys as a metaphor. how when they, and in perspective every artist, first "meet" creativity and the business surrounding it in young innocence all they saw was how beautiful she was, but then they realise/witness her dragged, abused and misused by people who think she should be used as investment and they can't look her in the eye anymore. but though they wish they never met her in the end its the only thing that matters.
