this whole album except a few songs seem to be mainly about how he cannot deal with the pain and discomfort that come with being in a band, especially one that is "successful" with just one or two albums, seems to me like he was telling us something, i talked to James and the original guitarist here in Austin (where he lives now) and his lyrics are all apparently interpretive to him and some but wut i got was that u will never know, but since the band and James took off... I think we can say he definitely did not want this...
