I do believe, or like to think this is a reference to peter pan - the movie Hook.
He shouts out to the "lost boys" and in the movie they shout BANGARANG when somethings awesome, like peter flying for instants :) And i also like to think take me under has something to do with the mermaids lol not sure about that one. Hope I helped or made this song awesomer :P
