The lyrics aren't very complicated, rather straightforward. I believe it's about the racial issue, especially in the USA, but this can be extended to the whole world. The first verse introduces the problem, the second tells about the blindness of some whites towards the issue, whereas the last one is about the responsibility of the blacks. Being black doesn't equal having a right to hurt others. The chorus couldn't be more easy to interpret: our appearance is only skin deep, what really matter is who we are and what we have in our hearts. Beatiful. Peace to you, people of all races, creeds and walks of life. Best wishes from Poland!
