This song was specifically written for Breaking Dawn Part 1. There are parts in the song like "sing for the lion and lamb" which refers to the quote from Twilight "And so the lion fell in love with the lamb", Edward being the lion, Bella being the lamb. Anyone that has read Breaking Dawn or seen the first installment knows Bella is pregnant and is barely clinging onto life. Edward does that agree with her choice to keep the baby because it is killing her, thus the lyrics "God and his priest and his kings, all were waiting".
