Nothing trustworthy enough to rely on. Being friends with someone who is a stranger is not a friend at all. If you're really all alone (new town, friends moved away...) you can look up what is there to do in the nearby region. Believe me when I say you are not special at all: everywhere there are lonely people looking out for a good pal to hang out with, even people who seem to have many friends can feel utterly lonely in the crowd. Hobby clubs, pubs, parks... It can be hard work but if you give luck a chance you will eventually come across someone who needs a friend just as bad as you do.
