The way that I interpret this song is that I can relate it to one of my good friends who committed suicide last week, I feel like that the first part of the verse is my friend, Tyler, talking about how his suicide is putting everyone through so much pain and that he knew what he had done. The second part of the first verse I feel as though it's my feelings towards him. I did so much for him because I loved him, and that I wish I could go back to when we were together all the time. The chorus is Tyler's depression and his decision to commit suicide. The second verse is like there isn't a way to turn back time. He couldn't find his way back to what he called "home". So the result is that now we're both alone. He's dead and I've lost one of my best friends.
