Very powerful song, one of my personal favourites from Demon Hunter as a whole and a favourite off of True Defiance (in fact I listen to this when I go to the gym).
The first thing that comes to mind is that this song strongly reflects John Eldredge's "Wild at Heart", especially as the song goes between the heart of God and the true heart of man: a warrior's heart that fights. Although the book encompasses just more than the concept of the warrior's heart and that God is a warrior (and will fight for what is just, right and Holy) but this song perfectly embodies it.
Especially the "In the fight I find my name" where God gives us our true name when we strip ourselves away from our false identities and he gives us our true identities. A beautiful concept in and of itself.
Can also be another "war-cry" songs which fits perfectly as well... Just too many things that could be said about this song!
Overall, a well-written, well-play, and just a beautiful song. Awesome album!
