The "triangular" bit sounds like it's referring to an unusual book. But no, it's his life that he's trying to unravel. I know this from an old interview in Trouser Press, which Shelley gave right around the time he released his first 2 solo LPs, Homosapien and XL-1.
He wrote this song after taking LSD; I think the pill (or windowpane?) was a triangle. The obvious giveaway is, "I'm seeing things clearly but it has quite nearly blown my mind."
Clearly the world-shattering experience led him to realize he didn't believe in anything anymore, not even love.
The repetition of "There is no love in this world anymore" is so simple and effective. Who'd ever guess the boys who started with "Boredom" (w/its 2-note solo!) would come up with a classic which takes as long to play as this one?
BTW the cover art for the group's last singles before the breakup (i.e. long before they rejoined so much later) was brilliant. Especially "Are Everything".

Almost needless to say, the bad parts of his trip were the genesis of the song "Strange Thing". Words and melody are awfully dark.
