I believe this is about a crooked person that is very selfish all out for his own gain. Hes like a salesman that sells you a lemon. He keeps burning his bridges, because eventually people find out they have a lemon! But the power he receives is the money he gains. Which in turn are what keeps him warm at night. All his bridges are burning down. Eventually there will be no one left to sell his lemons too!
