Superstar Lyrics

Cover art for Superstar lyrics by Madonna

In which Madonna writes a charming rocker about Daughter/Rebel/Friend Lola-She writes in no uncertain terms in praise of her-"I am your biggest fan/I'll play you a song on my Les Paul guitar/You're Abe Lincoln because you fight for what is right/Ooh la la You're my Superstar!/Lola, I love what you are!"-the writing may be simple and naive but that's exactly my point. Maddy and Lola are inseperable. We're all Superstars because only Love remains for Madonna. In three to five minutes, Superstar works like a Detroit charm if rhe impact is indeed right. Superstar is charming and brilliant-a Rocker's lullaby/ode to a kid who will go far in life. For Lola, onwards to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Like mother, like daughter-all is brilliant for the Ciccones.
