I don't know about that woman's intentions here or anything, but here's my interpretation...
this man is dating a woman who is very complicated when it comes to dating. She doesn't quite know what she wants. On the one hand she wants to just get over her pride and be with him, but on the other hand she doens't want to give in and let herself trust anyone again. She is used to avoiding commitment hence the line "You want me gone but I stay the night" I think that she does want him there but she doesnt want to allow herself to be vulnerable to anyone. Him on the other hand, he loves her and truly gets her, and thats why he puts up with all her complications and insecurities.
All she really wants is for him to prove that he won't hurt her since he has made mistakes in the past with other people - hence her suspicious right eye.
She is always messing up and treating him like crap not because she's an asshole but just because she's not good at being in a committed relationship. He realizes this, hence:
