I feel like this song is about someone promising you the world and a future together, but they just took it all away by throwing away the relationship.. It can compare to my relationship with my the first real guy I dated, such powerful lyrics.
I believe the lyric book is an outdated version of the lyrics. Like they were the original/outline of what she wanted, but when she recorded she went with what she liked or sounded better. Explosions is the key because some parts are >really< different, but also because it happened on the Lights album as well.
