Awesome song ~ maybe cuz I totally relate.....he keeps leaving her and coming back expecting her to still be waiting for him.....she keeps hoping this will FINALLY be the time he makes her a priority and takes him back.......
Been there -- and finally learned it doesn't work.....if you aren't a priority from the start, you never will be....some people aren't capable of love that way. It's the classic narcissist/empath love story.....once she doesn't meet his demands or she unveils a part of his mask, he leaves to get his supply elsewhere until that runs dry and then returns to her knowing she'll give it to him cuz she cares and is too blinded by love to see what he's really doing and that he lacks the ability to even feel empathy.....and so the cycle begins again.
Every time she says it's his last chance but inside he knows it never is cuz he's got her under his spell. I lived this story for several years ~ so happy to be FREE and so sad for the woman he's playing this game with now.
