In my opinion this song is about reincarnation and the fact that most of the people on this world are to egoistic to think about the part they play in this world. They just consume and live their little slave lifes wile empowering governments & big bussiness to steal / ly / cheat / destruct and rage war...
The last sentence is the best, because most of the people don't even know that they are doing this shit, they just live their lives. Most of them do feel that there is something wrong, but they don't know what it is and don't care (or dare) to investigate the real cause.
So the message is; don't let this world get ruined by a few deranged people; investigate the power structures and remember that you are not alone. Don't believe the lies about crazy moslims or christians, they are mothers / fathers / sons (etc. you get the point) just like you, Trapped in a land shaped by big bussiness and their governments.
