They try to make it better with material things and adventures, but they can hardly function anymore. They just keep changing, And they can't stop. "In your eyes I see somebody I knew before long long long ago" means she's looking in the mirror and remembers who she used to be. "I'm still trying to make my mind up, am i free or an I tied up" means she is trying to figure out if the change is what she wants or if its what the others want her to be, "In your eyes I see the eyes of somebody who could be strong" means she is looking at herself and telling herself to stay strong. "Now i'm pulling your disguise up" means she is trying to become herself again.
