Firstly another fantastic song from Guetta and Sia, always love the combo of his beats and Sia's voice, great mix The song needs to be read first to get what the story is about, Ignore the video as cool as it is visually apart from the fact the wolf turns into a naked woman at the end

In short the story in past tense is about 2 people meeting and being attracted to one another, they fall in love, but the "she wolf" clearly comes into the equation and using her dominace wins over the someone, the girl devastated hense "falling the pieces" by this is trying to figure out in her head, what went wrong, and mainly why,

im sure other comments from people will explain the story better but here are a few points to get you thinking theres more to this song that meets the eye

  • The definition of she wolf is 1, A female wolf 2. A predatory woman also many Prostitutes get refered to being a she wolf.

  • "hungry for that flesh of mine" refering to Lust rather than love which is a deadly sin, "the thrill of the kill you feel as a sin" could be adultery which again many belive is a sin

  • The lyric "what do you see in those yellow eyes", interesting because not many people if anyone actually has yellow eyes, therefore the colour yellow is symbolism, she asks that question because shes working out in her head what the she wolf had that she didn't to make whoever stay ... I copied and pasted this from a Colour meanining website...

How the color yellow affects us mentally and physically

  • Mentally stimulating
  • Stimulates the nervous system
  • Activates memory
  • Encourages communication
  • Lastly there is no point whatever in that song where she is talking about a man !!! this could be a lesbian affair, but i will admit i didn't think this when i first heard it or read it, its the sexist way of looking at this song assuming its a man she's falling to pieces about.
My Interpretation

Oh God.... ok you had me up until the "sexist" comment. That's idiotic and asinine, and you obviously have no idea what "sexist" means. It's not sexist to think that she's talking about a man, and there's no indication that she's romantically involved with a woman, by your logic it's just as sexist to think she's talking about loving another woman.

She's talking about how she can't compete with the "she-wolf" which is probably a slutty girl, maybe someone the love interest usually goes for because she also talks about them "laying with wolves". Also, many...
