Notably absent from Simone's version is the bit about the rooster, which a thread at mudcat.org ( http://mudcat.org/thread.cfm?threadid=33719 ) points out is a Biblical reference: Peter would deny Jesus 3 times before the rooster crows twice. And "sea lion" probably meant "she lyin".
