Update to my original interpretation: on the live album "Absolute Pleasure" Dick Valentine gives some insight to the meaning of the song.
Prior to playing it, Valentine says: "this song is about the ecstasy of accepting Satan as your master."
I think, at least partially, this confirms my primary interpretation (that the song is about some type of supernatural being) and doesn't quite deter the rock star aspect of it. The narrator is idolizing "Satan" like a rock star. However, if you've ever seen or heard a Electric Six live show or seen a Valentine interview, you know how he enjoys to be abstruse and enigmatic. But I'm going to take Valentine's word on this.
