Two quick amendments: I think the fourth line is 'take your call' rather than 'take yur coat.' Also, the first phrase of the chorus sounds to me like 'Get up.'
I think the key to the meaning of the song is in the title. 'After glow' may mean a band of dust paricles lit up high in the atmosphere at twilight, or it may refer to the common expression amongst drug users describing lingering positive feelings after the main effects of a drug have worn off.
To be honest, I think both meanings of the word are equally applicable to the songs, which to me is about a special relationship with someone, not necessarily sexual or romantic. But this person has a unique and wonderful effect on the singer; this person has the ability to lift him up, to save him from himslf and others. But the song is also tinged with sadness, because just as the dust particles disperse, and the drugs wear off, so he fears this person won't be with him forever.
